Call for proposals within the framework of «KUSANONE» program of the Government of Japan is open

Kazakhstani public activists have the opportunity to receive support within the framework of the Japanese Government program «KUSANONE (Grass Roots)»

«KUSANONE (Grass Roots)» is a program of the Government of Japan for gratuitous assistance to small-scale social projects to ensure human security.

The main goal of the program is to assist the common strata of the population, promote sustainable personal independence and social development of local residents by ensuring their safety and increasing their potential.

The purpose of the call: provision of gratuitous assistance to small-scale social projects to ensure human security, promotion of sustainable personal independence and social development of local residents

Eligibility: The call is open to local authorities, medical institutions, educational institutions, non-governmental organizations, public organizations, public foundations

Priority areas of projects: healthcare, education, social security, ecology, environmental protection, poverty reduction, and others.

The budget of a project can be up to 10 million Japanese yen, i.e. about 85 thousand US dollars (as of March 2022)

Application Deadline:

Applications are accepted all year round: spring period – until April 30 this year, autumn period – until August 31 this year.
