Civil Initiatives Support Center in partnership with the “American Corners” of the US Embassy in Nur-Sultan has launched the Fashion Girls in Business social project.
This project will assist to influence the economic independence of female students of Nur-Sultan colleges studying in educational programs in the field of sewing / manufacturing and modeling, as well as to develop their entrepreneurial skills and increase motivation.
The participants of the project will attend a training seminar on the basics of entrepreneurship in such areas as business planning, marketing, sales, and communication, as well as on the history of fashion to expand employment and self-employment opportunities.
The trainings will be conducted by the founder of the social corporation “Green TAL” LLP Emin Askerov, the founder of the marketing communications service Red Point Kazakhstan Assel Kozhakova, and the art-director of the TSE Art Destination gallery Baurzhan Sagiyev.
Moreover, the project will organize informal meetings with successful women of Kazakhstan, who will share their experience and knowledge with young girls.
At the end of the project, a competition will be held among the participants in sewing costumes for theatrical performance, which will provide an opportunity to apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
