As part of the International Day of Families, the international forum “Family Institute: Dialogue, Partnership, Development” was held in the capital city. The forum became the first large-scale platform bringing together Family Support Centers from across Kazakhstan.

The event was attended by representatives of Family Support Centers from all regions of the country, government agencies, international organizations, the expert community, and social sector specialists.

The forum served not only as a platform for exchanging experience, but also as an important event demonstrating the transition of Kazakhstan’s family support system to a new stage of development.

Today, Family Support Centers in Kazakhstan are becoming an important institution providing comprehensive assistance to families in difficult life situations, ensuring social support and strengthening family values. Initiatives that began as separate projects have now evolved into systematic work at the national level.

A significant contribution to the development of the family institution and the improvement of the centers’ activities has been made by government bodies, regional teams, social sector specialists, and international partners. The state pays special attention to strengthening family policy.

Participants of the forum included the Commissioner for the Protection of Family and Women’s Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Snezhanna Imasheva, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Askarbek Ertayev, representatives of UNICEF Kazakhstan, as well as heads of профиль departments and Family Support Centers from the regions.

As part of a special TEDx session, the best projects and practical achievements in the field of family support were presented.
