In Astana, a reporting event of the Civil Initiatives Support Center was held on the topic “Modern Practices of Social Projects for Sustainable Development.”

The event brought together representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the akimats of the Atyrau and Mangystau regions, along with more than 80 non-governmental organizations.

Participants were presented with results across key areas of civil sector activity. The program included thematic sessions where attendees discussed the outcomes of grant-funded initiatives and their social impact.

Projects in the fields of human rights protection, volunteer and social services, psychological support, environmental initiatives, and youth programs were also reviewed.

At the conclusion of the meeting, participants emphasized that regional initiatives strengthen the capacity of NGOs and expand opportunities for citizens to participate in addressing socially significant issues.
