Intellectual platform «Speaker number seven» will be held on August 21, 2019 in the framework of the III Republican forum of the three-root partnership NGO-State-Business «ASAR» in Pavlodar.
The site is organized by Civil Initiatives Support Center and the Ministry of Information and Public Development with funding from ERG, as well as with the support of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and Coca-Cola Içecek (CCI).
We introduce you to 7 civil activists who through their personal experience, values and beliefs have become motivators for their community. Each of them has their own personal history of becoming civil activists, with whom they will share on the site. They do not expect help from anyone, and themselves become catalysts for change.
Ainur Absemetova – UN international volunteer through his personal experience of volunteering in South-East Africa will talk about the contribution to the development of an inclusive society and plans on use of skills in the development of volunteering in Kazakhstan. The experience of Ainura is of particular importance and relevance in the coming Year of Volunteer in Kazakhstan.
Maulen Akhmetov – 21-year-old student will talk about the opening of a social cafe Kunde through the crowdfunding platform kikcstarter, which employs people with mental disabilities. His story is about how in business you can benefit not only the guests of the cafe, but also employees with special needs, their families and society as a whole.
Yuri Gashek – head of the Center of green technologies. Remember the phrase from the movie “Cloud Atlas”: “My life amounts to no more than one drop in a limitless ocean. Yet what is any ocean, but a multitude of drops?”. The story of a simple Manager who proves the statement from the movie by planting a forest of 3500 trees in the steppe.
Zura Zhusupbaeva – blogger, Ambassador small village Karazhar Bayanaul area will tell you how to organize crowdfunding and transform the life of village, so that the light from the solar battery is illuminated not only Hollywood inscription «QARAJAR”, but also lit the hearts of the villagers.
Aitym Kusainov – founder of Public Fund “ASYL Ana kz”. The story of how a person can contribute to the development of an inclusive society making the lives of people with special needs brighter.
Zhanibek Uspanov – the first patient who received a donor heart in Kazakhstan. After personal experience, he founded the public Association of Transplanted Patients “OMIR TYNYSY”, which provides assistance to citizens after organ transplantation.
Marina Cheishvili – the first social worker in Kazakhstan with cancer patients. Her story is about a strong-minded woman who fulfilled her son’s dream by founding the charity Fund “Amiram”, named after her son. The story of the fate, dreams and hopes of Marina will not leave you insensible.
