The official launch of the Fashion Girls in Business project was held online. The project is being implemented by the Civil Initiatives Support Center in partnership with the American Corners program of the US Embassy in Nur-Sultan.
The meeting was attended by the Chair of the Board of the Civil Initiatives Support Center Lima Dias, Grant Manager of the US Embassy in Nur-Sultan Amber A. Aura, coordinator of the American Corner in Nur-Sultan Saltanat Kuanyshpayeva, as well as project trainers and participants.
The event was opened by the Chair of the Board Lima Dias, where in her welcoming speech she thanked and expressed her appreciation to the American Corners program: «I am glad to welcome everyone to the opening of the Fashion Girls in Business project! This is the first joint project of the US Embassy in Nur-Sultan with the American Corners program and the Civil Initiatives Support Center».
“It is very symbolic that the project was launched in March. In the United States, March is declared to be the month of women’s history. In the modern business environment, the role of women is very high. Women entrepreneurs create new jobs, reduce unemployment and help stabilize the socio-economic situation in the country and the world. We are glad that you are interested in entrepreneurship and in obtaining new knowledge. I am sure that experienced trainers and speakers will give you the specifics of doing business and motivate you with their example, ” – said Amber A. Aura, Grant Manager of the US Embassy in Nur-Sultan, and thanked everyone who decided to take part in the project.
The founder of the social corporation “Green TAl” LLP Emin Askerov, the founder of the marketing communications service Red Point Kazakhstan Assel Kozhakova, the art director of the TSE Art Destination gallery Bauyrzhan Sagiev presented their courses that will be conducted as part of the project.
